On Saturday, Argyle ISD voters approved both Proposition A ($393M for new schools, land, buses, tech) and Proposition B ($29M for a baseball/softball complex), with 65.7% and 56.8% support, respectively.
Denton ISD voters chose Tanya Wright (Place 3) and re-elected Charles R. Stafford (Place 5), while Sheila Taylor kept LISD Place 7 and newcomer Jeff Dearing won Northwest ISD Place 3.
In mayoral races, council member Ronald Schmidt was elected to the post in Argyle, and Jeff Mayer defeated incumbent Ron Robertson in Copper Canyon.
Flower Mound voters passed both bond propositions. In Justin, Propositions B–J passed, while A failed. In Lewisville, multiple propositions passed, with Place 4 headed to a runoff between Lonnie Tipton and Joshua Chanin.
Josh Pezzuto won Northlake Place 6.

Tanya Wright won with 6,387 votes against Julie A. Greenawalt’s 3,505.
Denton ISD Board of Trustees Place 5
Charles R. Stafford won with 5,536 votes against Phyliciá Anderson’s 4,165.
Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees Place 7 (At-large)
Sheila Taylor won with 5,916 votes against Ryan Echols 2,735.
Northwest ISD Board of Trustees Place 3
Jeff Dearing won with 1,650 votes against Joe Washam’s 1,280.
Town of Argyle Mayor
Ronald Schmidt won with 837 votes against Chad Sheddy’s 251.

Janae Newton won with 261 votes against incumbent Dale Andrews (107) and Shawn Gaudet (10).

Passed with 2,930 votes FOR and 1,758 AGAINST.
